Resilient Infrastructure

FVO has devised a coherent implementation strategy in order to ensure that the recovery of community infrastructure starts as early as possible and meets the immediate, medium and longer-term needs of the affected community. Once the identification and prioritization of community infrastructure schemes by FVO, the task of designing straightforward engineering solutions, and undergoing any relevant tendering and contracting processes can be readily pursued in accordance with FVO standard procedures. FVO covers schemes, which correspond to different areas or sectors such as water, education, health and productive assets.

Once the identification and prioritization of community infrastructure schemes has been undertaken by FVO, the task of designing straightforward engineering solutions, and undergoing any relevant tendering and contracting processes is not complicated and can be readily pursued in accordance with FVO standard procedures. FVO covers schemes, which correspond to different areas or sectors such as water, education, health and FFA.
Assets Construction and Rehabilitation
As part of FVO’s improving resilience objective and through its FFA programs, FVO is focusing on the construction and rehabilitation of the community most needed assets that would enhance access to basic services like roads, enhance adequate access to Water and Sanitation systems like water harvesting tanks and sanitation facilities, enhanced Irrigation and livestock development and Soil & water conservation and gully control measures like tracers and irrigation channels.
